Abstract
Algerie Telecom will be launching AD 40 billion (US$ 554 million) bonds to enhance its working capital and finance its development program throughout 2009. The government has also chosen the Spanish trade Bank Santander to work on privatization of the incumbent operator. Algerie Telecom Mobile’s subscriber base has reached 2 million by end of June 2005 and will be launching 3G services.
